Event Calendar for 2018
Head on down to Husky Rescue KZN on Sunday to show our furbabies some love.
Walk starts at 07:30 followed by Husky cuddles, grooming and interaction. Open Day ends at 10:00.
Please wear clothes you don't mind getting showered in fur and sensible shoes. The walk is through the cane fields.
Please do not use GPS to find us. Please take note of the directions:
Traveling on the N3 toward PMB take the Cato Ridge off ramp and turn left at the stop
(Coming from PMB take Cato Ridge off ramp and turn right over the bridge)
Travel approx. 1km and then turn right onto D766
Then take first left onto D246. It is sign posted
Travel along the dirt road for approx. 3.5kms
Along the way you will pass the Coastal Horse Care Unit and then KTM Racing Farms on the right.
Take the next right turn at a blue & white sign saying Silokazi Farm Trust
Approx. 500 meters up the road it forks. Take the left fork
Another 500 meters will bring you up to a big gate with a Bougainvillea next to it
You will know you are in the right place when the Huskies welcome you with their hooooooowls!!
Blow the hooter for attention.
There are small Husky Rescue signs at each turn from D246. Look out for them and they will help you find the way.
Join Husky Rescue KZN and a few of the huskies for a fabulous, funfilled adventure with your furbabies at Giba Gorge. All dogs welcome … Huskies, Mutskies and other breeds as long as on a leash.
The walk will go up to the Waterfall where Chris McCabe will be waiting to take photo's of you with your family and furbabies at the picturesque Waterfall.

Entrance Fee: R100 per Human which includes a burger and ABI drink from Afro's or R50 per Human with no burger or drink.
Photos will be available for purchase near the restaurant for R20 each

The Black Lapels – Rob Warren on guitar and vocals, Garth Warren on bass and backing vocal, Andrew Makins on sticks and Luke Wyngaard on lead guitar and support vocals – will take you back to the late 60s and early 70s through the music of this iconic band.
Venue is at The Barn, Shongweni Club
Tickets only R130 per person
